Khigo 2 — Release Notes

Includes updates from version 2.0

February 2024 - April 2026

Khigo 2 introduces a modern foundation built on Safari Web Extension technology, delivering faster performance, improved stability, and a more flexible configuration system. This update brings a redesigned settings interface divided into focused sections — Directions and Search Engines — with powerful new options for tab placement, activation behavior, and drag-based interactions. Users can now control whether to open images, URLs, or search selected text while dragging, and can even send links directly to jDM for download management with simple modifier keys. Together, these enhancements make Khigo more responsive, intuitive, and deeply integrated with the macOS browsing experience.
